This image is perfect! The technical merits and the composition together with the contrasting BG make this a superb close frontal portrait of this Bushbuck doe.
IT must go into my favourites!

Hi Annick . Great head on shot of this Bushbuck. I just love the large dark eyes and big ears. you have captured fine detail in the coat with natural colours. A good DOF. well done TFS.

Very well captured portrait of this Bushbuck - I know nothing of these animals, so thank you for the info link.
She is attractive with those deep dark eyes, and I love her ears.

A lovely captured portrait of this bushbuck. It looks very beautiful. Superb details and a lovely composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.
I don't see the Xsif information. What F/stop did you use for that good DOF?
Very nice picture of this bushbuck ewe. The ewes even rear their young in the camp. The ewes probably go out into the bush to lamb, and return to the safety of the camp soon afterwards.
Did you notice that there are no mature rams in the camp? I think that is because the male lambs are taken out of the camp by the rangers soon after they get their horns. I know that the bushbuck ram is a sly and brave little fighter. I have read reports of both man and leopard that was killed by bushbuck rams. Apparently they can be very dangerous, especially when wounded.
Anyway, a very nice picture, well done.

Tu es maître dans l'art du portrait animalier. Tout à fait étonnant de voir cette antilope nous regarder droit dans les yeux.Du grand art! La technique est toujours parfaite, l'arrière-plan fin met bien en valeur l'animal.
Un grand merci
