most African predator have to eat quickly after the kill or other animals will steal their food (hyenas, and vultures especially). The leopards get around this problem by draging their food high up in a tree and eat at their leisure up there. Only other leopards can steal their food.

very good capture. i wonder how this leopard hauled its prey on to (what it looks like big ) tree. tfs.


Very nice to capture a Leopard in it's natural habitat. The pic is not always as easy as one might think due to the foliage and trees and shrubs in the wway when seated in your car. You have done well under difficult circumstances with a bright BG, foliage and I assume quite a distance between you and the Leopard.
