[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We saw huge swarms of vultures in the air and in the trees, which suggested the death of a large animal. When we go closer saw over 20 lions feasting on this dead elephant. What happened nobody knows.

Very interesting, you were fortunate to see this, I have never seen anything like this. Thanks for sharing it.

Hello Sitthivet,
Very strange. I wonder what happened. Maybe a 'in heat' fight or something like that.
Your focal length is almost a wide angle; you must have been really close.
Extraordinary content.

Hola Steve: Un momento impresionante...saludos.

Hi Steve,

You are very fortunate to have seen this sighting. Very unusual and mysterious indeed.

Rare shot indeed. Very interesting to look at.
The warths are still on him. Presumably he wasn't killed for the warths.
The lions can't have killed him. Too big.
Have you got a shot with the 20 lions? If it's not worth a new post, maybe you can attach it as workshop to this actual pic.
Brilliant pic
