Python oif the genus Python and species Sebae.
Lives in the tropical African savannas that stretch through Africa like a belt.Always found near water and forest edges.At 30 feet it is the third largest snake in the world.It is very bulky and has a arrow head shape and can get to up to 250 pounds in weight. Like all snakes it movea by slithering its body over the ground. It kills by constricting its prey, and can live for up to a year between meals if necessary and if the animal it eats is big enough to sustain it.
