Once again a beatifull day in kruger,in our last restcamp Lower Sabie we were waiting in cue this morning to leave the restcamp around 06.00 in the morning with gate opening time,we planned to take the S128 up north in the direction to skukuza to have our breakfast overthere,a good choice as we met this cheetah family (mother with 4 cubs) as first vehicle and observed them for about 15 to 20 minutes,I have as well made a small video for the ones who are interested, the video you can find on my moviepage on my website.
It is not so common to see the cheetah as there are estimated around 225 animals in the krugerpark,so we were quite lucky to see 5 of them at the same time, hope you like them and tfw

Hello Paul
We were hoping to encounter a scene like this, but unfortunately had bad luck with the cheetahs this year. You were lucky to have this family lying in the street posing for you, giving you ample time to take some splendid photos and a video (Thanks I checked it out) Just like the way two of them are looking straight at the camera. It does not matter how far you are away from these beautiful creatures the prominent markings on their faces are just so beautifully seen. Looking at this image I am so sorry that our holiday was over so soon. I like the relaxed pose cozy family scene captured. Thanks for sharing.
Best regards

hi paul,
beautiful and handsome creatures these cheetahs are and the light and colors are superb. i wish at least one of them standing here to make it great. also the foreground could have been bit less than what it is here and more of the background, where some nice grass gone totally oof. tfs.

yeah, lying around and enjoying the sun is something i would like to do now too - the cheetahs really now how to do it.*g*
nice capture of this amazing group of cats with 2.5 pairs of eyes looking in your direction. well done & best wishes, thor.

Hello Paul,

You have shown the beautifull day in an excelent photo. The animals are shown with great sharpness so that fur's pattern can be well seen. As they were staying in the shadow you have got excelent, natural looking colors. I like the way you have used DOF geting a sharp image of the main subject between blurry fore and background.

Thank you for sharing,

Merhaba Paul,
Woww!.. Bu kare gerçekten enfes görünüyor. İnsanı ürperten ve bir o kadar da özendiren heyecanlı bir kare. Eline sağlık.

Hi Paul,
Yes, a beautiful day and a fantastic gathering. Such a huge delight for the eyes and as they give that cold stare your heart must a felt a thump. They lazy attitude is well captured here. Great lighting and the monotone colours makes the image so wonderful. Excellent POV and composition.

Ja, je hebt het allemaal gezien. De Krugergoden waren je gunstig gezind...
Fantastisch. En 't mooie licht was natuurlijk inbegrepen.
En nu maar naar de moviepage zeker:-)
Ben je ook hier dichter geraakt voor een close up?

Ha Paul,

Weederom een pracht plaat
