This is a searchpicture: Where is the brown rock? :-)
I guess it's quite hard :-)
Well, this photo shows the seal colony on Dyer Island. You may have heard about the famous shark alley in South Africa. Dyer Island is just inside of this alley and I think you can guess why this place must be a popular place where sharks like to eat ;-)
It is an amazing stink of excrements in th air when you come near to the seals. I could even smell it in my clothes when I was back in Hermanus where I was staying. Dyer Island itself is near to Gansbai which is famous for it Shark Cage Diving trips. As a matter of fact, the photo was taken while being on such a trip. |
