Mooie scherpe foto van deze Acaciagors genomen vanuit een erg goed laag standpunt. Goede compositie ook.

Very good photo of this beautiful bird. I have found it so difficult to photograph as it moves around almost constantly. Good composition and sharp as well. tfs.

A fine capture of an attractive bird!
The low lateral POV is perfect and taken with fine sharpness so that it contrasts well against the OOF dry natural BG.
Thanks for sharing this excellent portrait of this species,
Best regards from a rainy Skåne,

Hi Paul. You must have seen many birds on your trip. This is a colourful one which you have taken with fine detail and bright colours. It has unusual head markings. well done TFS.

there are more than ten species of Buntings here, but this is different from them with coloration. But it is very beautiful. you captured it with a great shot. focus, POV, eyes contact, colors and composition great. Thanks for sharing this beauty, well done

its very interesting to me, to see another bunting species, and so well presented to boot. I have been working with Reed buntings in Switzerland and always wondered (and studied too) what the black and white coloring on the head are for. Maybe the individuals see each other when hidden in the grass? Or has it to do with the dawn period, where females look for extrapair partners and find them more easily that way? Ads you say, the females have similar if weaker head markings.
Thanks for this one, Paul
