Hi Paul,
What a marvelous shot! The colors and clarity of the Steenbok are just superb. Your shallow DOF helps to set off your image very well. A very elegant presentation! TFS.

Hi Paul. Another fine picture from your trip. The Steenbok is a cute looking animal. You must have been fairly close using a 300 lens. We can see its large eyes and sharp looking horns. Very good detail and colours. well done TFS.

Stunning, Paul, stunning! The point of view and clarity in this portrait are great, and your capture right at the point of nibbling on the shoots -- very nice! This one's a fine bit of camera craftsmanship!

Hallo Paul
What a beauty. Looking at this penkop makes me anxious to visit the Kruger again, and before we know it, it is October and we will be on our way there. This is really a very special image with plenty of details to appreciate and admire. The short horns of this steenbok is very eye-catching, so is the large olive shaped eye and the beautiful hairy ears. The thornbush with its turmeric coloured flowers are true to the natural habitat found in the Satara area. The whole image is very pleasing to look at, and your camerawork has brought out the best features of this little "steenbokkie". Best regards and thanks for sharing.

A very beautiful shot here of this gorgeous Steenbok male. The pose is just a remarkable capture...as if you asked this little guy to do this for you. Beautiful little flower right next to his nose makes for a wonderful photo.

Hi Paul,
This reminds me of the Mule Deer here when they eat the top of the thorny cactus plants. I think this setting is much prettier. The Steenbok is marvelous with wonderful colors and sharp details. I love the big eye and the black antlers.

Hi Paul,
Natural environment, great colors and Composition. Senior-level focus and light settings. As well as cute little horns of this antelope Steenbok seems like a great weapon. Curious leopard and cheetah which hunt against him that this is the opportunity to use weapons. Natural environment, this is the chance to see live lucky man. We take the opportunity to see the beautiful pictures that are glorious to have found. Thanks for Sharing.

Normally the timid steenbok is a rare sighting in the Kruger National Park. However on our latest visit early in December we spotted about 10 of them during our 5 days in the Park. They are quite skittish and you normally only have a few seconds to get a photo before they dart off again. This is why this photo is so special. A kind of "action" shot with him nibbling away. The colours are spot on and the focus nice and crisp, well done!
