An amazing shot of a proud Malchite Sunbird ( What a good name )taken proudly in South Africa ! Well done Frans, what a masterpiece! I think that some information from the technical aspect of the image can help us learning a bit more about photography. Have a great weekend and welcome to Treknature!

Hello Frans,
A top quality portrait of a male Malachite Sunbird in eclipse plumage. Excellent POV, lighting , colours and composition against a clean BG.
Thanks and kind regards,

Hello Frans, very beautiful bird and you photographed it nicely. Excellent composition and fine background. More important this is a natural bird of South Africa.

Hello Frans,
High quality photo again! Superb sharpness, details and pose of this non-breeding Malachite Sunbird. Amazingly beautiful OOF BG, composition and natural colours. Perfect DOF.
I hope you got to give comments and critiques on other photos, because you are so good!

Frans, what a lovely shot! You've captured fantastic detail and color in a well composed shot. Very impresive.

Hello Frans,
I never saw such an excellent Sunbird image before. Congrats.
That said I share George's opinion about sharing some technical information. Quite boring but it might be interesting in order to learn some new things.
I'll share my info; it's very difficult to capture a Sunbird due to its very small size, its large bill, metallic colors and a few things more. So in particular I wonder what type of camera body you used and which lens was attached.
Once again this is a superb image.

Bonjour Frans,
Très belle publication permettant d'apprécier dans un cadrage serré, sous une lumière bien maitrisée et une excellente profondeur de champ, la finesse des détails et la délicatesse des couleurs.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

hello Frans
this is a SUPER sharpness picture with great details and good light
beautiful colours
great shot
greeting lou

Stunning, stunning capture of this amazing Malchite Sunbird...my goodness. The colors here...are maybe the prettiest and most vivid of any photo I have seen on TrekNature. The background is a perfect blend for the amazing colors on this little guy. I think it really deserves much more, because this is very nicely done.
