[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was very lucky to get a shot of this very scarce Harrier on a farm near our town in the Western Cape Region of South Africa.
It's habitat is flooded grassland and adjacent areas. This one just caught a frog wich can be seen in his claws.
I shot this with a Canon 40D fitted with a Canon 100-400 lens. The ISO was set at 640 and shutter speed was 3500 @ F7.1

Hallo Frans,
Again a high quality photo in superb sharpness, details and splendid natural colours. The markings on the wings of this harrier are so beautiful. Fantastic blue sky in the BG and composition.
