The Pioneer White or African Caper White (Belenois aurota) is a small to medium-sized butterfly of the Family Pieridae, that is, the Yellows and Whites, which is found in South Asia and Africa. In Africa, it is also known as the Brown-veined White, and is well-known during summer and autumn when large numbers migrate north-east over the interior.

Image number 200 in my portfolio! Taken in RAW, ISO200, Aperture priority and spot metering system. Overexposed by 1/3 stop.

This is really superb macro work George. Pin sharp detail and the little droplets adds a lot to the image. I like how the background orange colour compliments the shoulder colours on the butterfly.
Well exposed and good use of flash.

Hi George.
You managed to produce a truly art picture. Flower, butterfly covered by numerous water drops of dew and BG create a splendid composition. POV, composition, colours, details are blameless. Well done.

Hello George,
another stunning details very well presented. so wonderful to see the heavily laden butterfly with water droplets.
so special and so different in presentation, not simply a butterfly.
This one is one extra value added with a lovely surprise.

Foozi
