[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These two giraffes were feeding side by side by the road when I pulled up next to them and they just kept on grazing and looking up at me every now and then.
The one on the right is the one I used for the portrait shot on my previous posting. And the question everyone was asking - how did I get such good eye level shot's. Well it was because the road was higher than where they stood. They were standing in a down slope area that was leading to a small dry river bed that you cannot see in the photo. So I just zoomed in on the head and voila a nice portrait shot.

Hi Natley,

Lovely unwashed light producing two shades of green that contrast the golden brown of the giraffes so well. Perfect focus & composed image of these gentlest of giants.

Kind regards,

Hi Natley,
Well done on these two gorgeous Giraffes. Nice clear and sharp image. I love the envirnomental scene as well. Wonderful greenery and the mountain in the background really gives this photo depth. I like it.

Hello Natley,
hope you'll be doing fine. I owed you a comments but leaving that aside, it is a fine photo. It is always difficult to photograph wildlife which you have, for it is dangerous. One must know all about the environment of the birds and beasts and you are an expert. Thanks a lot for sharing a sharply focused photo of their private life....take care....warmest regards/abid
