Leptotes pirithous is a butterfly of the family Lycaenidae. It is found from southern Europe to the Himalayas and in most of Africa. Its common names are Lang's Short-tailed Blue and Common Zebra Blue

The wingspan is 21–29 mm for males and 24–30 mm for females. The butterfly flies from February to November depending on the location.

such a lovely stripes and its beauty is very well appreciated. wonderful view indeed. It is not only the butterfly, the pearly dew is so stunning. The ring of bokehs in the background is so attractive in giving this shot an artistic and splendid presentation.
