This is the southern limit of the distribution of the species. It is a large bird (length 42 cm), but rather little in the genus hornbill. Sexes being similar, identifying my specimen is not proven (the beak of the male is bigger, but I lack comparative elements). It is omnivorous.
The bird was completely in the shade, I had to use the built-in flash, that I do not appreciate much. It is however well worth its characteristics
