For Paul. The Three Musketeers, armed with 2 Canon and 1 Nikon DSRL’s set off on a cheetah hunt this afternoon at the De Wildt Cheetah Institute near Hartbeespoort in North West. Japie arranged it, & Gerhard & I traipsed along. I shoot again too many pictures, but who can resist? I liked this one the most of all the pictures I took, and looks forward to see what my fellow hunters will bring to the TN tribe as trophies! Let the picture speak, I have written enough on cheetahs. Hope you like it too. I was the nearest to him so most probably it was the old guy he had something against.

Hi Callie, I hope you three had a great day. Thanks for the picture - Made my day! Beautiful shot, I love the pose and the teeth. Great shot.

Super shot! Very crisp. I am amazed at how clean the Cheetah's teeth are. Is this from gnawing on bones of their prey? Those eyes are fabulous! Wish I could have shared in such an exciting adventure as well!

After watching this one, I cant wait to see the rest. Please leave some point left for the modest members :-D
Thanks very much for posting this beauty Callie, I am happy you took advantage of the opportunity very much.

Excellent image, Callie. What a beautifull set of teeth!!

I made a workshop, cropping the picture slightly and modifying some values... I hope pleases to you.

Wow, Callie, you had quite a trip today again. And a focal length of just 130 mm. You were close, my friend!
This is a beautiful shot, excellent sharpness, glad I just logged in. His eyes are of a beautiful color.
(I'm glad that there is a less dangerous relative of htis species on my lap right now, which makes it hard for me to type;-))

Puddy with attitude good capture Callie, glad you all had a good time at the reserve. the results seen so far are all good so the lens was not long enough and you got a bit close.

Howards words be, "He was pissed!!" The shot is incredibly sharp and it feels like I could reach out and touch im (but he is to "Pissed" to do so) The lighting in this needs special mention as well

Baie dankie vir die uitstappie en ons moet weer so maak. Hierdie keer kies jy of Gerhard die plek.

quelle expression !
j'espere que ce n'est pas apres toi qu'il est en colere car il a vraiment pa l'aire de plaisenter !
superbe photo, nette et bien colorée, on reconnait vraiment bien l'esprit d'un felin predateur !

Superb,I love it!
Well done.

Fierce looking puddy tat there Callie, I love their orange eyes.

Lovely shot. Crystal clear detail. The pose is absolutely fantastic. Brilliant light! I think we were not at the same place. :) It was great, thanx Callie.

Wonderful capture Callie - as well as you fellow hunter for that day. Great colours, great dof but I think it would be nice if you cropped out about 1/3 of the space in front of the cheetah like tightning the composition - well, I am not sure but...?

Anyway I love the picture and the note.

Mmmmm, sharp, not only the picture !
Great shot on the right moment !

Good moment, quite similar to myself, yesterday after hearing the result of these elections ...

I love this picture! Very sharp and nice colours.
