Fine close photo of this Wattled Lapwing in excellent sharpness. The colours seems a little bit over-saturated, but maybe it was the light at that moment. Attractive pose and composition.

Very interesting photo and the eye has been captured very well.I am also intrigued by the two sharp nail like structure in black in both sides of the chest (which has come out sharply in your picture). Your African Wattled Lapwing is certainly an interesting looking bird with an array of colors in it's plumage, not to mention that unique bright yellow wattle. A beautiful bird and photographed nicely.

Nicely composed photo. Sharpness is excellent, some small overexposed parts are detected on the plumage here and there, but who cares? :-D A good photo in its entirety, even with them. Even with them, full credit for you. Off: if you accept an advice from a 40-year-old, do not ever write negative about yourself, such as "I'm not a serious photographer at all" on your intro page. Don't forget: this is a hobby site and we're all here to learn from each other. And yes, you ARE a serious photographer. Someone who shows himself the meaning of the word "improvement". Someone, who was always able to handle critique as it is: constructive.
