[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I had captured this photo of Lilac Breasted Roller at Satara,in Kruger National Park. I have captured so many pictures of this bird in different places in Kruger.
I like this species due to its color and pose. It's a common bird if you drive in KNP. You could see them sitting on dry branches and concentrating on ground for food. It's nice to see them flying; almost looks like Rainbow!

Superb details and colors. It is a very nice and colorful bird. The colors are close to the European Roller witch migrates in Europe, but I meet her only twice in 6 years......

I agree with you, it's very beautiful and has a rainbow of colors in it's plumage. Great eye contact and sharply focused. Exposure looks good especially considering the challenging light you had to deal with.
