[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I had captured this photograph of Lion near Orpen in Kruger National Park.
In our Sunset drive we were driving around Orpen dart road. Once we turn left from narrow dart road found a lone Lion walking gently. There were no car; just we, so we cherished the beauty of this magnificent animal quite a lot of time to following him.
I was thinking that King always stays ahead and other remain back. Here my intension is to show his territory as well as his dominant power not to give importance to unusual matter. He didn't show any importance to us and even didn't looked back. So here I was thinking how much he has confidence in his territory that other will not take chance to do any harm to him.
Memorable time.....

Hello Srikumar,
At first glance I thought to myself, what an unusual POV. I then read your notes and immediately understood and agree with your thoughts.
This was his domain and he didn't feel he had to even acknowledge your presence. He is demonstrating his total confidence in being the supreme ruler of this territory and doesn't feel threatened in the least bit by you being there, I love the soft warm lighting, wonderful detail and beautiful natural colors. Great shot!!
Ron

Bom dia Srikumar,

Hello Srikumar,
Very interesting and useful comment. Indeed this lion has great confidence in territory. Not looking back at all....
Marius.

Hi Srikumar,

The vegetation is framing well the animal. The point of view is showing the details of the lion. The good luminosity is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Pierre

Hello Srikumar,
For sure he did not pay any attention because he had just finished eating, we can see clearly by the size of his tummy ;)
amazing perspective from the ground, a pity we not able to see the paws which is one of favorite in this animals.
TFS,
Nelson
