|Southern Black Flycatcher (Melaenornis pammaleina) - New bird species for Treknature (if I'm not wrong 😉) |
I have captured this picture of 'Southern Black Flycatcher' at Kruger National Park during our visit at Pretoriuskop Rest Camp.
It is a small passerine bird, native to open and lightly wooded area of Eastern and Southern areas.
It's an entirely black bird with even black beak and black legs.

Hi Srikumar, very professional pic,it's always difficult to take so well the detail of a black plumage, your capture of this black flycatcher is absolutely amazing,i like it! Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano
Beautiful composition and lights, congratulations - also for posting a new species on TN. However, I feel a part of the plumage, right below the eye, is oversharpened. With the exception of this, a fantastic photo, respectively.
Kind regards from Ireland, László
You have captured a good eye contact. The point of view is showing the details of the Southern Black Flycatcher. The light is making the colors to shine. Have a nice day.
Ciao Srikumar, great capture of lovely bird in nice pose on beautiful blurry BG, excellent sharpness, wonderful metallic colors, fine details and splendid light, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
