[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Southern Masked Weaver (Ploceus velatus)

This bird has been featured a couple of times. I am posting this one because it is doing a parade. I have just completed my Annual General Shareholders meeting for the Group. (I am the CFO) I am only posting this parade then I am of for some serious celebrations. The results are the best since 1980. Will catch up tomorrow with you. Thanx for being my world away from work!

Very nice detail and good action shot.
The bird seems to be warming up for your celebrations already. Oh No, his eyes look like roadmaps, he's already been to the party.
Enjoy the celebrations

Hermosa ave en extraña posicion.
Buen colorido y agudeza, impactando por sobre todo el ojo tan llamativo.

Beautiful bird in strange position.
Good colorful and sharpness, hitting by mainly the so showy eye.

Well by the time you see this you will probably thinking "OUCH never again, well till the next time" hope the party went well.
Nice one Gerhard well worth posting the bird is well seen in mid display , some might say the twig is a distraction but the bird is powerfull enough to over come this I think.

Looks like you scared the cr*%# out of him...LOL... Beautiful capture of a beautiful bird I am sure I will never see in it's natural habitat. Great timing, Gerhard! And a toast to your success!
