[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Came across this critter having a late night snack. Strangely, he was hanging from a branch WHILE eating. Giving the appearance that they are floating. Not 100% sure but I think it's a Robber Fly that he's sucking on. Can anyone confirm this or ID it properly. I have no idea what kind of spider this is either.

Thanx for viewing and please comment

Hello Jannie this is very execellent macro photo very good work thanks TFS regards Stavros

Hi Jannie,

Great Capture.
Excellent macro shot!!!

Well caught to both you and the spider. Very striking shot!

Excellent closeup, very clear and nicely framed. My only comment is that you darkened the contrast too much in order to probably get rid off the unwanted (or disliked) backgound. Thus, making the insects hang in the air.

Best Regards,

Hi jannie , this is a very good action moment frozen very well . Lovely composition.

Hello Jannie,

Sorry, no time for a decent comment, but definitely worth a ;-)

A fantastic capture!

Hello Jannie,
I like the vertical composition and the subjects are well seen from the dark BG. Excellent detail, color and use of flash under night-time conditions also. Yes, it looks like a robberfly and a type of orb weaver on the spider. I like it, Very well done.

Excellent macro shot, sharp, detailed and well composed. The leaf adds to the shot. Well done - points later
