[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This masked Weaver shows up in the same tree every year and builds in excess of 10 nests. The female inspects a nest and if she does not like it he will break it up in a few minutes and start all over again.

I have only seen these Masked Weaver nests on TN, but I think they are the best nests a bird has ever made! But what a fussy Mrs Masked Weaver - poor fellow having to remake and remake her rejections! You show it off well Deon, thank you
PS And welcome to TN, I do hope you enjoy your time here.

Welcome to the site and a good post - I took over 100 pics the other day and managed to get a good few - some already posted on the site!
This is sharp and the pose good, I might have been tempted to crop more off the right side to lose some of those high spots. Otherwise, excellent and look forward to more posts from you. Cheers. Tim

Hello Deon,
You have very good sharpness, detail, color and light here. Interesting pose as the bird hangs from underneath. Well done & Welcome to TN.

Nice shot, your image is superb, colours of the bird are excellent.
