I love that intense look in his stare Loot, he does look like a young child. It's a beautiful portrait, the lighting on him is good, bringing out his dark eyes. And I love those pixie ears.
Great shot, and very interesting notes - not so sure about the lifestyle they live.

What a fantastic close-up. I like your full frame composition.
The details are excellent, and the exposure is perfect, showing very natural colors.
This little fella still has a very worried look. I just want to pick him up and hold him tight, especially after reading your notes.

You did more than one good shot with this little guy. I liked the other one, but this portrait is as excellent. Sharpness is great, exposure is excellent with plenty of details even in the dark area, nice use of soft lighting. Framing and shallow DOF result in a nice portrait composition.

Priceless, this little KEES! Eye contact, no wasted space, slight angle to the head, and a leading shoulder.
I have done another WS for you.
I rotated the image around. Place the two images to gether, and see HOW the visual impact changes in the way you look at the image. Mine now lead with the shoulder from the left, taking you into the frame. I payed again with levels, and Velvia Vision too, and the eyes are so much brighter, and a bit more "sun" on the fur. Subjective,again, have a look, throw it out.

Inderdaad 'n komieklike ou gesiggie wat sekerlik enige moeder hart behoort te laat "custard" pomp. Dit is nou seker indien dit 'n bobejaan ma se hart is. Tog lees ek in jou reeks hoe die klomp hul kleintjies kan vermoor. Wanneer ons, ons menslike standaarde op die natuur wil toepas dan is ons geneig om te dink dit is wreed. Tog is dit 'n normale gang van sake en die spesies oorleef sonder enige menslike inmenging wat tog seker beteken dat die natuur dinge op sy eie manier doen en daar is sekerlik 'n balans in al hierdie dinge.

Nogeens staan ek verstom oor jou vermoë om 'n storie te vertel. Uiteraard nie net in hierdie spesifike aflewering nie, maar die hele reeks vanaf die eerste foto van hierdie klein karnallie. Waarlik 'n puik stukkie skryf werk en vir die rekord, ek het dit terdeë geniet. Die foto self is iets besonders. Tegnies is dit van hoogstaande gehalte, maar weereens gaan dit hier oor die totale paket, m.a.w. die notas staan sterk om dit 'n volkome sukses te maak en al wat ek weereens kan sê is "geluk".

Another one of your striking close-ups. The details on this little baboons face are excellent, and the exposure is perfect, showing very natural colours. The intense and almost "innocent until proven guilty look" is really special. He does look like a human youngster and the characteristics on its face show just that. Priceless expression captured. It's indeed a beautiful portrait. I love that elf-like "Mr. Spock" ears.
