[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a repost of my original picture. Gerhard rightly pointed out that he would have cropped the picture on the left and that is exactly what I did, and I believe the picture to be better now.

Original note:
This picture was taken In the Kruger National Park, north of Satara rest camp. The picture is of a Burchell's Cougal (Centropus Burchelli) and the picture was taken late afternoon, at most about an hour before sunset. That is why the light is so soft and orange/yellowish.

What a beautiful bird, and a superb shot too. As you say in your note the light is soft and warm, as too the colours. Lovely detail, nice POV and good DOF. A great shot.
