Hi Nelson,
You actually brought along a perfect lens to show the vast space of the area. With the telephoto lens you would show the mountain better, but with that kind if weather I think the result would show the fog and low hanging clouds. What you do might consider buying is a few filters, such as the polarizer and a grad ND. This way you will keep more details and color in the sky. You might want to do some PP work to get some more sharpness and recover some of the details in the BG.

Niek
Olá Nelson
Linda paisagem. Gosto muito do contraste do primeiro plano com as nuvens ao fundo e do clima da foto.Ótimo enquadramento e cores .
Um abraço

The 55mm lens was a good choice for this landscape. You took it at the right place, the composition is nice, with the tree on the left side. Well done, Nelson.
Suntoucher suggestions are helpful ones. A simple software adjustment of brightness, contrast and sharpness would give more energy to this image. A good, easy to use and free software can be found at faststone.org
Hi Nelson,
exciting panorama, well composed, and an extra bonus for showing a kind of weather that we usually do not come to see on any postcards.
With thanks, and best regards,
Peter
Congratulations Nelson.!!!
What a GREAT SHOT.
Reminded me a lot of Angola. A great capture of all that ENORMOUS space.
Very well presented, composed & documented.
Excellent clarity inspite of that windy weather.
Best regards to my BEST, BEST friend,
Mario.
