[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken at the bird hide near Skukuza, this was one of several of these birds on the dead branch just out in front of the hide. I am not sure of the ID, so would appreciate help here, but I think it is a Cormorant.

This one was keeping an eye on the hippos just below him!

Hi Tim,
it's not a cormorant but a African Darter (Anhinga melanogaster)
Nice capture with good use of flashlight and dark BG.

A great capture of this darter,well captured with good colors and POV,as I will go to kruger as well next year jus a question suppose that those birdhides in the park are marked in some maps?

Great capture with a beautiful pose. The flash really helped to bring out the bird from the OOF BG. Just a pitty that the whites have become a tad too bright. Besides that the colors and composition are pefect.
