[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Thanks for your note Callie on my earlier posting of the rare Disa. Here is one of the most rare as you pointed out - two on a stem - also on Table Mountain, Cape Town. As far as we know they only grow in the Western Cape mountains and only for three months of the year. This picture means that people over the world can enjoy this flower while it is still alive. It won't be in two weeks time.

Very nice this shot. Upon your notes, a rare plant. The flower structure points me toward Orchidaceae family. This is an orchid.
