Black-backed Jackal range
The Black-backed Jackal (Canis mesomelas), also known as the Silver-backed Jackal is a species of jackal which inhabits two areas of the African continent separated by roughly 900 kilometers. One region includes the southern-most tip of the continent including South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. The other area is along the eastern coastline, including Kenya, Somalia, and Ethiopia.

Nice photo with a good image quality. The animal is well shown as the image is sharp and good details can be seen. The colored flowers are making a pleasent fore and background.

Interesting picture! The fox and its habitat is well shown a plesant composition and selective focus makes the animal stand out. Good Job

A beautiful shot of this Black-backed Jackal in the flowers...really a lovely photo. The lighting is very soft, and this little jackal has a great pose, too! Very nicely done.
