When birdwatching and aproaching raptors there is a very obvious difference between Europe and the large African National parks. In Europe raptors will not let you aproach closer than a few hundreds meters, whereas many raptors in Africa can be aproached down to just a few meters. After centuries of persecution European raptors learned that many people have a gun and just shoot at them.
