This flower caught my attention, for obvious reasons. Its bright colours and shape are very striking.

I realise the framing is a little off. The ends of some petals are missing from the image.

Anyone know the name of the flower?

This flower is really beautiful, with amazing colors and a wonderful symetry. You have caught it very well. Nice sharp details and nice composition, even if the ends of some petals are cut off. Well done !

Looks to me like a Gazania a native of S/Africa , the Native one's are usually a nice sunny orage colour leading me to believe this one is a Hybid cultivar , which unfortunatly means it contaveens the TOS (terms of service) of TN so will probably need to move to one of the other Trek sites.
