[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The White-tailed Blue-flycatcher Elminia albicauda is living in the rainforest canopy and is quite difficult to photograph due to low light conditions and very nervous hopping and flicking around. This one was found at the forest edge and presented itself rather well

Hello Tom,
Another beauty from Uganda. Unbelievable how you managed this in that forest with slopes so steep that you have big problems to stand right up.
Fantastic sharpness, details and splendid natural colours. Gorgeous pose with eye contact.
Regards,
Peter

A stunning shot of the pretty Flycatcher.

Hello Tom,
I'll bet you were thrilled to see you captured it with it's tail fanned out so attractively. A beautiful flycatcher with a pretty light blue plumage and a bit of a crest for a headdress. A fine specimen Tom!!

Magnificent capture of so pretty and special Elminia. Congratulations Tom. I searched flycatchers of this genus in Ghana, even if in Elmina town, their first locality. Unfortunately I couldnt. You were lucky in Uganda. Thanks for sharing this beauty. Well done, my friend.

It is a pity, that we miss our Uganda trip in this August because of virus Ebola... :(
