|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|The warthog (Phacochoerus africanus) is a wild member of the pig family that lives in Africa. They are the only widely recognised species in their genus, though some authors divide them into two species. On that classification, P. africanus is the Common (or Northern) Warthog and P. aethiopicus is the Desert Warthog, also known as the Cape Warthog or Somali Warthog. The name comes from the four large warts found on the head of the warthog, which serve the purpose of defense when males fight.|

Great capture of this Warthog in his natural habitat; excellent POV and composition, sharp details and natural warm colours.

Nice shot of this warthog - showing the typical savanna habitat well.

Hello Ferran !
What an ugly Warthog, but such interesting creatures ! :-) I love to look at them, but unfortunately we don't see many on TN - so well, I chose this one among your wonderful gallery. Really a great capture. I love composition, POV and fine natural colors, as well as the way the Warthog is looking at you. Very well done !
