Swamp Flycatcher Muscicapa aquatica is a rather small and unspectacular bird living in and around Papyrus swamps. In South Uganda it was quite common and not really shy.

Hello Tom,
This is a new flycatcher for me, and a very cute one at that. You have done and exceptional job of photographing this tiny bird, as every feather can be seen in superb detail. Great close-up of his facial features showing off it's snow white throat and big brown eyes. A real beauty Tom!!

Hello Tom,
The bird looks unspectacular, but the photo is spectacular. Fantastic sharpness and details and the eye contact is so intense. Splendid light and colours and a very good choice of POV and composition.
