[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Photographed from Victoria Falls National Park on the Zimbabwe side of the Zambezi River. Showing the might of Victoria Falls is apparent even in the dry season. Also known by the local tribespeople as Mosi-Oa-Tunya, or 'The Smoke That Thunders', the falls were formed over 100,000 years as water from the Zambezi River eroded cracks in the Basalt to create the gorges we see today.
