Another postcard from Antarctica. This time the sings of wind on the fresh snow. I hope you like it

Wind is the flow of air or other gases that compose an atmosphere (including, but not limited to, the Earth's). In short terms-wind is air molecules in motion.

Winds are commonly classified by their spatial scale, their speed, the types of forces that cause them, the geographic regions in which they occur, and their effect. While wind is often a standalone weather phenomenon, it can also occur as part of a storm system, most notably in a cyclone.

Winds can shape landforms, via a variety of aeolian processes.

Hello Krzysztof,
Very good depth in your work partially due to the wind but mainly through the wide angle view.
Beautiful landscape.
Well done

Hi Krzysztof

A very nice reminder for us of your great trip down south :)
Even if this photo was taken quite some time ago, it fits well now, with some cold and snow being announced in many regions of Europe.
I like the FG textures here and the way one can clearly see which way the wind was blowing from. I'm not too sure about the 50-50 composition though...i think i would have cropped a bit from the top, but other than that, it's great.
Good exposure and excellent depth.

Bravo and TFS

PS: wouldn't you like to join us one our TN meeting this year. It will be held in Poland and we're now voting on the period for it. If you're interested, check the Forum :)

A hardy scene indeed Krzysztof, predominantly in blues and whites, expressing great depth of field with miniature dune-like snow traces. It must be cold out there my friend.

Hello Krzysztof,
nice capture from antartica, i liked the pov very much, your image has a 3d effect, this landscape with snow, water and blue sky looks great,
tfs & regards

Hi Krzysztof.
This shot is really looks like great quality postcard. Amazing diagonal composition and perfect selection of the POV. Crisp sharpness of the details are so suitable for that places. DOF is the best and exposure and colour reproduction are outstanding.
Bravo. Perfect work.
