I just switch on my computer ;-) and I saw this great photo. Thank you very much for the dedication. Beautiful shot. I didn’t have the opportunity to see this species. When I was on King George Island it was already to late for Adelie. Fantastic moment, beautiful light and fantastic, big group of penguins. I like it very, very much
Very best wishes from Poland

What a great photograph! Penguins are such entertaining birds! I hope they managed to avoid the teeth of the leopard seal!
Lovely composition using the rule of the three.

Hi James. Its hard to think what 200,000 penguins would look like . Your picture shows them just waiting for one to make a move and then they will be off. As always such interesting notes to go with your picture.

It's been a long since you have posted your penguins. It's delightful to see them again. A wonderful shot of this flock gazing out at the sea. They look so human - could be a group of tourists waiting for orders from their guide.

Beautiful image,i would personally have cropped off a bit off the top as i find the bright surf on the top right a little distracting.

Great view of this crowd leaving land to escape the 'nasty' Leopard Seal that no doubt is waiting for them out there!! Strange behaviour that must be due to panic! Very well composed showing sharp details and nice light.
TFS and regards, Ulla
