Hi Ann,
The black creatures are insects, not spores (spores are never visible without microscope). Point of view is good, but the focus seems soft. The fungus species is probably Pleurotus sp., but I can't be sure without microscopic analysation. However, enjoy your stay on the site while uploading your photos and commenting thosse of others.
