[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This photo was taken in Sichuan province, while we were on our way to Yading. Autum is the shortest season everthing changes within days. The timing was perfect I was able to capture the changing colours before the leaves fall off.
I was taking this photo on the middle of the road with a group of photographers.
Suddenly there is a couple on motorcycle pop up on the middle of the road stiring up the dust. Most of my friends quickly pack up their precious equipments before they get dusty.
I stayed for 30 seconds longer to capture this shot. It turn out to be my favourite shot of the trip |

Hi Tony,
Very striking and effective image, TN purists may question the inclusion of the motorcycle but to me it adds a definite quality to the image, a sense of scale and after all, man is an integral part of many landscapes. Lovely work, the composition and colours are very bold and vivid - the gold sunlit leaves are incredible!
Thanks, Doug
Hi Tony
This is a lovely shot. I agree with Doug, the motorcycle definitely makes the image something special. Excellent DOF, very nice composition and really beautiful colours. I really like how the symmetry and peace of the scene is somehow transformed, yet not shattered, by the inclusion of the motorcycle. The eye is constantly drawn to it.
Very well done! TFS
