The Indian Fritillary (Argynnis hyperbius) is butterfly of the Nymphalid or brush-footed butterfly family.
Male upperside bright yellow with an yellowish green base. Forewing with black bars, spots ( quadrate, triangular, dentate and round) and marginal line. Hindwing with black bars, 7 discal spots and marginal border traversed by a row of slender brown or blue lunules. Underside forewing with the basal two –thirds reddish brown and apical third pale yellow with markings as above. Hindwing: pale yellow or pale greenish yellow with black sub-basal and discal bars, bordered with pearly white lunules. Female upperside forewing: basal half and entire. Hindwing: reddish white lunules. Female upperside forewing: basal half and entire, hindwing: reddish brown with green tinge at the base. Markings as in male but larger. Forewing: apical half purplish blue or dark blue with an oblique sub-apical white band and bluish white apical spots. Wingspan 65-85mm.

Interesting to see an Argynnis-species from far away..I didn't know that there were some in China too. Look quite close to ours, but the spots are a little smaller. Fine natural colours.

Nice photo taken from an interesting angle, great focus, sharpness, DoF and color tones. I might crop a little more from the bottom to off-center the b-fly a bit more, and to get the sharpest part of the insect more closed to the edge of the frame. Just a personal idea, though. Fascinating shot overall, congratulations.
