|Trapped in a shelter at a lotus pond during heavy rain, I discovered very interesting activities going on. The surface of the lotus leaves appeared to have physical properties that repell water and small droplets of water ran wide on its surface like small diamonds. The water droplets then collected in the centre of the cup-shaped lotus leaves. The leaves periodically bowed over and emptied their load into the pond. I managed to capture this photo of water collected at the centre of a lotus leave at the moment when the sun reappeared.|
