The Transparent Six-line Blue (Nacaduba kurava) is a species of Lycaenid butterfly found in Asia.
Male
It has a particular tint of attractive purple blue or deep purple on the upper sides of the wings. The prominent feature is the transparent wings. The forewings are quite pointed. Fore wing has a slender anticiliary dark brown line. Underside is brown. The fore wing is transversely traversed by three pairs of white strigae.
Female
The recto surface is a whitish grey color shade and tint with a prominent dark margin and a scalloped edge on the hind wing.
These butterflies are mostly found in forested areas in the low and mid country. They are known to mud sip.
