Cretainly a very strange bug,and one that is new to me John.
The POV is interesting and some detail is very clear,but the DOF could be better.

Very nice portrait, well done. Need crop more tight JL.

Great capture of this interesting bug.
Maybe just a bit more DOF would have been good, but otherwise its a nice shot. Good POV.

Just a short comment to this species. This is a beetle belonging to family Chrysomelidae, and subfamily Cassidinae.
