[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
male Güldenstädt's redstart sits on Sea Buckthorn bush - foothills of Mount Kazbegi(5033 meters) Georgia(the country)

For Caucasus specialities, November seems to be not the best month however today(21st of November) we're shocked by 40 different Güldenstädt's Redstart just in three different locations not far from Kazbegi town center. Actually it was the 3rd most common bird today after sparrows and choughs, probably they were even more than we expected. (We count the individuals which were sitting up on the Sea Buckthorn bushes at the same time.) The ratio of male/female was also interesting. We saw 34 males including one 1st winter but only 6 females!

Last day we have counted 75 individuals without an effort at sea buckthorn bushes along the Tergi valley. Just amazing...

Hi Emin,
Simple, yet powerful shot, I like the its simplicity and the contrast between the bird and the pale background very much. Focus seems a little soft, otherwise a very spectacular pic supported with an interesting note.
