Out of jest, beautiful photo, great definition in a composition dominated by the subtleties of grayish tones, both the street and the wings of this animal. Hi Luciano,

Who has ever heard of a Butterfly drinking Watermelon Juice? The composition itself is interesting and the colors are natural. Nice specimen.

I too like watermelon juice (smile) so I can relate to your butterflies intense thrist.
A wonderful presentation showing off this lovely specimen in fine detail. Nicely composed and displaying just the right amount of exposure. It kind of reminds me a little bit of our speckled wood butterfly.

Very few butterfly photographer achieve such beautiful BG now a days here in TN and they don't like your picture ;-) here, I can see.

Good details and nice POV. Ground level POV could have been more attractive.

Bonjour Luciano,

L'insecte est bien placé dans le cadrage. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du papillon Arachné ou Coronis. La lumière fait ressortir la beauté des couleurs. Bonne journée.
