|Though I feel that it is a Common Redstart (as per reference in Birds of Indian Subcontinent by Grimmett, Inskipp & Inskipp), It could also be a Juvenile Black Redstart. |
Found this at Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary posing for a pretty long time.
Any help from the TN members on the ID of the Redstart will be greatly appreciated.

Wonderful presentation of this beautiful Common Redstart from your country. It is quite different in appearance compared to the American Redstart I see here during the spring migration. Nicely focused while displaying lovely color tones and some bonus catchlight in its eye. I like the off center composition. Well done!
Lovely picture with excellent color and composition. Stopping down to f/8 gave extra DOF which makes the entire bird stand out sharply.

The best condition to take this bird, bright light and perfect pose, the result is absolutely perfect with a impressive sharpness too,i think that your ID is correct. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
