[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Saach Pass is located in the Lesser Himalayas that go by the name of Pir Panjal in Jammu & Kasmir and Himachal Pradesh. It is a higher and tougher pass than Rohtang Pass in Manali region. It opens for vehicular traffic in June/July, depending on the quantity of snow and ice on the ground.
This year on June 4, I trekked to the pass with my students. On the way, we came across these towering walls of ice flanking the road.

Hello Ram,
An original image which I find quite interesting. I like the great view we have of the high snow and ice covered walls. Reminds me of a country road I drove one winter back in the 70's when we had an unusual amount of snow.
Super sharp focus throughout entire frame and perfect exposure with no washed out areas. The partially cloudy sky with a bit of blue peeking through is very beautiful. Great shot!!

the blue sky and clouds are giving the impression the other side (background)
