[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I was at my native place in Chamba,Himachal Pradesh, for a couple of days recently. I did not have my equipment with me, so I had to use my iPhone 6 to take this picture of a somewhat tatty Moth on a wall of my house.
I do not have any clue about its ID.
Experts are requested to identify it for me.
Thanks. |

Hello Ram,
Great shot of this little moth displaying very good clarity and detail. Can you imagine trying to spot it if it were on a tree trunk? The camouflage ability of its wing color and pattern is remarkable.
Reminds me of the tiny moths we saw this year while in Nicaragua. Not exaggerating, literally hundreds would gather on the houses at night where an outside light was on.

Ciao Ram, lovely moth with broken wing, splendid sharpness, fine details and wonderful natural colors, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
