[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The mighty Himalayas stop all monsoon clouds much before they could reach Ladakh; hence Ladakh region remains cold & dry turning into true rain shadow zone. One can appreciate that majority of monsoon clouds during rainy season are unable to cross the mountainous ranges in this photograph too. I found it very interesting moment and shot it well in time to share with you all :) The photograph is shot from 40,000 feet ASL.
