[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This high altitude adapted House Sparrow (Passer domesticus) is a bird of the sparrow family Passeridae, found in most parts of the world. A small bird, it has a typical length of 16 cm (6.3 in) and a weight of 24–39.5 g (0.85–1.39 oz). Females and young birds are coloured pale brown and grey, and males have brighter black, white, and brown markings. One of about 25 species in the genus Passer, the House Sparrow occurs naturally in most of Europe, the Mediterranean region, and much of Asia. Its intentional or accidental introductions to many regions, including parts of Australia, Africa, and the Americas, make it the most widely distributed wild bird.

Hello Subhash

A week ago here at the TV they show a program
(it is every week program) of « the roads of impossible »
in French « Les Routes de l'impossible » at TV5 Canada,
a week ago it was on the hard and very difficult
roads passing by the high mountains of Ladakh.

Some persons don't love as much photos of birds
that are from far, but I am loving this kind
of photos, beautiful photo of this House Sparrow
that is adapted to the high altitude, the only
thing the subject is too much centered on
the frame, with removing the free space at
the back of the bird (left side of the image)
it would be much better photo, great focus, TFS

An excellent pic whit impressive detaisl on the sparrow despite the distance, very nice minimalistic composition ans perfect colors too.Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

I totally agree with Asbed about the compostion, but I too liked this image for its overall ambiance, has dreamy effect to the picture. I wish more people discuss about the good & bad of a image....we can learn from each other. TFS

My dream destination "Ladakh" hope I will make it some time.....god willing.
