[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Ashy Prinia or Ashy Wren-Warbler (Prinia socialis), is a small warbler. This prinia is a resident breeder in the Indian subcontinent, western Myanmar and Sri Lanka. Its small size, distinctive colors and upright tail make it easy to identify. The northern populations have a rufous rump and back and have a distinct breeding and non-breeding plumage while other populations lack such variation.

This passerine bird is found in dry open grassland, open woodland, scrub and in home gardens in many cities. The northern limits of the species are along the Himalayan foothills extending into the upper Indus river system. The species is absent from the dry desert zone of the west of India and extends east into Myanmar. Like most warblers, the Ashy Prinia is insectivorous.

Hello Vinay,
I had never heard of an Ashy Wren-Warbler until now. A very alert looking bird with beautiful coloration. I like it's upright pose which gives it a proud look. Nice clean and colorful BG. Well done!!

What a colourful and full of sunlight picture of a very cute scene with charming small birdy. I like diagonal structure of the image, lovely smooth BG and perfect details of the bird and its substrate. TFS and bets regards.
